Gap Helps the SFMOMA Celebrate
The Gap and the SFMOMA are collaborating to celebrate the museum’s 75th anniversary, with the store introducing a unique line of eight limited-edition artist-designed t-shirts.
Nine artists with close ties to San Francisco and the Bay Area (Rosana Castrillo Diaz, Simon Evans, Chris Johanson, Kerry James Marshall, Barry McGee, Ed Ruscha, Leslie Shows, Larry Sultan and Michael Mandel) have designed the shirts. The artists are also displaying their work in the various programs and exhibitions that are part of ”75 Years of Looking Forward.”
